WIAA: Under the microscope

Archbishop Murphy football gets stripped of its right to play in the postseason because of, well, red tape. Now complaints abound because of playoff scheduling. Nine a.m. games? The WIAA is definitely in the crosshairs of many this season, and football isn't the only reason. Is all the complaning justified? Sideline Smitty has his two cents, and does an article in today's TNT.

I read the articles about the two incidents. As a former coach I can appreciate AM's position but I also know that one magnanimous act would open the flood gates appealing all kinds of decisions. Remember, no good deed goes unpunished. As far as the playoffs go, all the complainers are serving their own interests. The games are for the teams; the spectators get the privilege of watching. Just get up earlier and go to the game.
