Looking back at 2007, here is my HS GameTime All-Star team. I selected athletes from football, girls soccer and volleyball and one coach for my '07 team. Congrats to all local high school athletes, in every sport, and Happy New Year.

They took on numero uno in the nation and lost, 51-41. Auburn Riverside falls to 4-1 after losing to Notre Dame Academy (Middleburg, VA), yesterday in the Nike Tournament of Champions down in Phoenix. While Notre Dame advances to the semifinals vs. Southridge (Beaverton, OR), Auburn Riverside takes on Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK) this afternoon.

O'Dea's Johri Fogerson's was awarded the Washington state player of the year from the Associated Press this week. The senior rushed for a record 297 yards and four touchdowns in O'Dea's 42-35 loss to Skyline in the 3A title game. Fogerson finished the season with 2,545 yards and 36 TDs, and has given a verbal commitment to play at Washington. H
The Auburn Riverside girls basketball team won their first game in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix yesterday and will face the number one team in the nation today. It came down to turnovers, as Spokane's Lewis and Clark Tigers defeats Bothell to win the 4A State Championship, 21-14. Congrats to LC, and way to go Cougars. A great season for both teams.
