Boys basketball: Rainier Beach over Prep

The state's top 3A team is starting to click, as Rainier Beach beat Seattle Prep 96-82 last night. A third quarter burst sparked the win, after the teams were close at halftime. You can read more on the game at the Seattle Times.

Over in 4A, Decatur held on in overtime to beat Kentwood last night, 82-77. Marcus Tibbs scored 10 of his 23 points in the OT, sealing the win -- which included UW coach Lorenzo Romar in the audience. More on that matchup can be found here.
