Cheerleading, Dance and Drill Championships

Bellevue Community College and the Yakima SunDome will serve as host sites this weekend for the 2008 WIAA State Cheerleading Championships, and State Dance and Drill Championships.

The State Cheerleading Championships starts in Bellevue, this Saturday at noon, with the awards presentation at 5 p.m., after an exhibition performance by a special needs cheer squad. On Friday, the 4A high school dance and drill performances begins at 1:30 p.m. The awards presentation is scheduled for 8 p.m. On Saturday, the 1A/2A/3A high school dance and drill performances will start at 1:30 p.m. The 1A/2A/3A awards presentation is scheduled for 8 p.m.
