Random drug test decision, good or bad?

I was torn on the State Supreme Court decision last week, ruling that schools cannot randomly drug test high school athletes. Sure, drugs are bad. Teens learning how to make good decisions is good. Some teens need to be guided on the way, by parents and schools. But what if a teen is taking a drug for a health condition that the student want to keep private? Do juveniles have a right to such privacy? Or does the greater good outway the right to privacy?
