New WesCo football divisions

WesCo officials have approved a plan to expand football from two to three divisions, according to the Seattle Times. As soon as next fall, WesCo North and South will have seven 4A teams. 3A teams belong to a different division (Arlington moves up to 4A). Here is the shakedown:

WesCo Football:

4A North
Oak Harbor, Stanwood, Arlington, Marysville-Pilchuck, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Monroe

4A South
Cascade, Mariner, Kamiak, Jackson, Edmonds-Woodway, Mountlake Terrace, Shorewood

3A
Everett, Glacier Peak, Meadowdale, Lynnwood, Shorecrest
