State music competition this weekend

The WIAA's 2008 Washington State Solo and Ensemble Contests are this weekend, April 25 and 26, at Central Washington University in Ellensburg. The ensemble competition will be held on Friday and the solo competition on Saturday, with performances beginning at 8 a.m. Admission is free. The performance schedule for the weekend is available at www.wmea.org and information on tournament regulations and past contest results can be accessed at www.wiaa.com by clicking on ‘Activities’ and ‘Music.’
