WIAA selects schools for 2008 Kickoff Classic

The WIAA has picked out the schools for the 2008 Emerald City Volleyball Invitational and the Kickoff Classic. The 2008 Kickoff Classic features three teams that competed in the '07 State Football playoffs: Cascade Christian, Fife and Central Kitsap. The ten teams in the 2008 ECKC combined for 79 wins in 2007 and every team achieved a winning season.

Noon 3A Eastside Catholic vs. 4A Eisenhower
3:00 p.m. 4A Puyallup vs. 4A Bellarmine Prep
5:30 p.m. 3A Kennedy vs. 4A Kentwood
8:00 p.m. Punahou (Hawaii) vs. 4A Central Kitsap

The '08 Volleyball Invitational will be a four-team jamboree format, where each team plays two games against each participating school.
