Issaquah, Bainbridge in boys lacrosse finals
Issaquah and Bainbridge will face each other in boys Division I lacrosse finals. Also, Northshore and Seattle Prep advance in Boys Division II, and Bellevue and Snohomish advance in Girls Varsity B.
In Division I, Issaquah boys won 10–4 over Mercer Island. The win lands the Eagles in the state title game against defending state champion Bainbridge on Saturday. Undefeated Bainbridge defeated Skyline 16–4.
In Boys Division II semi-final action, Northshore won over Overlake 14–7 to land in the state title game against Seattle Prep, which downed Redmond 7–4.
In Girls Varsity B semi-finals, Bellevue lands in the state title game with a 14–13 defeat of Curtis, while undefeated Snohomish defeated Nathan Hale 18–6.
Tonight in Girls Varsity there's more semi-final action as Lakeside faces Forest Ridge and Mercer Island faces Bainbridge. Both games get underway at 6:00 p.m.
The 30th annual Washington State Lacrosse High School State Championships take place Saturday, May 17 at Seattle Center’s Memorial Stadium. The all-day state championship event for boys and girls high school teams gets underway at 9 a.m. and continues until 8 p.m.
