Lakeside downs Roosevelt in lacrosse quarter-final

Mercer Island's girls lacrosse came from behind to win over Tacoma, 12-11. With the win, the Islanders advance to Thrusday’s state semi-finals. So did Lakeside, defeating Roosevelt 16–4 in the other Girls Varsity A quarter-final on Tuesday.

In Thursday’s Girls Varsity A semi-finals, Mercer Island travels to Bainbridge for a match-up at Bainbridge High School and Lakeside takes on Forest Ridge at Robinswood Park for a trip to the state title game May 17 at Seattle Center’s Memorial Stadium.
