Evergreen football starts with midnight practice

Fall sports around the area can being practicing today. But Evergreen High School in White Center got off to a fast start. New head coach Dave Lewis kicked off the season at one minute past the stroke of midnight. It started last night with paperwork at 6 p.m., a BBQ at 10, 12:01 - 2:00 a.m. practice and lights out until this morning's 7:30 breakfast and then conditioning at 9 a.m. Bet there are some sleepy and sore football players this afternoon. But what a way to kick start the season.
