Local hoopsters go national
Three local basketball players have been invited to play in the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game. Bellarmine's Abdul Gaddy, Josh Smith of Kentwood, and Garfield's Tony Wroten Jr. get the call for the August 22nd game in New York City.
The Game is the only hoops event in the country to feature the top 24 high school male players regardless of class year and shoe affiliation.

Kid in Olympia, Daniel Daye...just got back from Duke Camp I hear, 16, 36 inch verticle, shoots the lights out..seen him at LA Fitness playing with adults...BEASTING ON'em, soldiers, old school,all takers...under the radar, don't sleep
