Girls soccer rankings
I was glancing about and noticed two polls on Girls soccer worth taking a peak at. At the Seattle Times Eastlake is top of the 4A, while Everett tops 3A. Also check out the Everett Herald's, which is similarly put together by polling local coaches. They have Everett on top of the Wesco North, Jackson for Wesco South and Archbishop Murphy for the Cascade Conference. It's not an enviable task making these lists. But we'll have to wait and see how the season shapes up. Issaquah losing to Lakeside certainly shook things up early.

Why is it that the only school you cover 95% of the time are 4A and 3A schools? This story about girls soccer rankings is a perfect example.
There is usually never mention of 2A schools until the end of any particular sports season when championships are on the line.
I'm the parent of a student in a 2A school and would like to see better coverage of these schools.
I'll see what I can do. I don't think either Everett or the Seattle Times have yet to do a 2A ranking for girls soccer. I know when we get the AP rankings for football, we include 4A down to 1A. I'll see what I can dig up.
There is a great article in today's (9/18) Tacoma News Tribune on the Fife Trojan (2A) girl's soccer team. They won 2A in State last year. Nine of the twelve players are seniors this year, and their coach Teri Shimoda is awesome. They tied Bellarmine (4A) 1-1 on Tuesday (9/16) night. There's a lot of talent in Fife. Check it out!
