Hippest new high school? Glacier Peak

We received an e-mail a few weeks back about a new high school in Snohomish called Glacier Peak. Since, we're in the process of adding Glacier Peak High School to the HS GameTime website. What is Glacier Peak, you ask? Dubbed "pretty rad" by the Tacoma Tribune, the school opened its doors in rural Snohomish off Cathcart Way this year -- ending Snohomish's run as a single high school town. Glacier Peak opened with 1,000 underclassmen but no seniors after administrators decided seniors should graduate from their current high school. Their mascot? The Grizzly. As you'd expect with no seniors, Glacier Peak is having a hard of the football field, going 0-3 with losses to Arlington, Lake Stevens and Marysville-Pilchuck. I'm sure it won't be loing before the Grizzly learn how to bite. You can read more at the Tribnet.com.
