Bothell v. Skyline, 5 p.m. primetime on ESPNU
The ESPNU broadcast crew is setting up at Skyline Stadium tonight, to air Skyline's 5 p.m. KingCo 4A championship game with Bothell -- primetime across the nation. Sadly Comcast doesn't air ESPNU, so most NW residents will be out of luck unless they attend the game. But according to the Seattle Times, the crowd is expected to be the largest ever for Skyline -- estimated to reach 5,000 fans.
So does 6-2 Bothell stand a chance? Ranked 15th in the nation by Rivals.com, Skyline, in the team's first season from moving from 3A to 4A, is averaging 42 points on offense -- and the starting defense has yet to give up a point. Both teams played on TV last season, when Skyline won the 3A championship and Bothell lost the 4A to Lewis and Clark. For more on Skyline, check out today's article on ESPN.com.
