Timberline teen Junior Golfer of the Year
Timberline's Cameron Peck has been named the Rolex Junior Players of the Year by the American Junior Golf Association. Past recipients include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Grace Park. Both Peck and Victoria Tanco (Florida) the girls' winner, ended the season ranked No. 1 in the Polo Golf Rankings.
How good is Peck? This year he won at the AJGA Invitationals and the U.S. Junior Amateur. He is also the first player from the Pacific Northwest ever to win this award (it's been awarded since 1978). The Timberline senior has verbally committed to Texas A&M University. You can read more about Peck' stellar season, including all his victories, at the A.J.G.A. website.
