Garfield player named U.S. Army All-American

Garfield's Deandre Coleman was named to the 2009 U.S. Army All-American football team yesterday in a ceremony at the school. The invite secures Deandre as one of the top 90 seniors in the country. The game will be played January 3rd in San Antonio on KING 5 TV. You can see part of the ceremony in the HS Gametime.com video section. Deandre will also be the subject of this week's Prep Zone feature.

Biggie, I am sooo proud of you. You work hard on and off the field. You already know academics first then football, you're just blessed with both. You are such a humble youngman and know that all your little cousins espeicially Leland look up too you! I love you and always know Auntie has your back.
