2008 WIAA fall state academic champs

The 2008 WIAA Fall Academic State Champions list has been released. The awards program gives a shout out for academic achievement of high school athletic teams. The awards are determined during the season.

In no particular order here are just some of the winning programs: Garfield for boys 4A cross country (3.89 gpa), Northwest Christian for 2B boys soccer (3.59), Lakeside football (3.44), Mt. Vernon HS for girls cross country (3.97), Auburn Mountain View for girls 3A soccer (3.81), Squalicum for girls swimming (3.61) and LaConner for 2B volleyball (3.88).
