Friday Night Football playoffs
Some great football playoff matchups tonight: Federal Way vs. Skyline, Woodinville at Auburn and O'Dea vs. Lakes just to name a few. Go Kentwood
Shame on Issaquah! Issaquah High School showed lack of class and was insulting to Kentwood fans at the game on Nov 15th. The lack of seating for visiting teams in the Issaquah stadium necessitated Kentwood fans sitting on the Issaquah side. To have the police ask Kentwood fans to move, and to have the Announcer state that KW fans would have to leave our seats and stand instead was insulting and rude. Maybe it is a usual occurance in Issaquah, for police to be stationed in the stadium and asking fans to change seats. I thought it was appalling. In addition, it was ironic that the announcer gave a lecture about good sportsmanship and immediately following the speech, the Issaquah fans booed the KW team when they took the field. I am thankful my children go to Kentwood - a school that has class and is respectful to rival teams and their parents.

As a student who goes to Issaquah... Its not like we can make our visitor stands bigger. Ketwood students shouldn't have come over on the HOME side of the stands.. it just doesn work that way. We have had fights break out because the students from the visiting school have pushed wrong buttons. Issaquah has such high spirit in their team and we will defend our team no matter what it takes.. there fore the police officers are usually there... Its a high school football game.. dont get too touchy about it.. we are all high school students...
