Hoops: Federal Way defeats rival Kentwood
It's still early December and already the hoops action is heating up. Last night, the No. 1 ranked Federal Way Eagles held off rival Kentwood 61-53 in a heated SPSL 4A North contest. The Eagle's Michael Hale led all scorers with 23. Kentwood's 6'9" junior, Joshua Smith, had 19 points and 15 rebounds. Even Husky coach Lorenzo Romar was in attendance. The teams meet again on Jan 17.
