PI: Tony Wroten Jr. ruled ineligible

According to the PI, Tony Wroten Jr. has been ruled ineligible to play basketball for Garfield High School. An investigation by the Seattle Public Schools determined that the 6'4" Wroten -- one of the top guards in the nation's 2011 class -- does not live in the district's boundaries (Garfield's sophmore class is full, negating non-resident applications). Wroten's parents, who live in Renton, are disputing the district's decision. To try and get back into the Seattle School District, Wroten must get a waiver from the Renton School District. Then he could then apply for openings at Rainier Beach, or Cleveland. You can read the PI's story here.
