Skyline's Heaps in Army All-American Bowl
Well, the honors keep coming for Skyline's Jake Heaps. The QB was selected to play as a first selection in the 2010 Army All-America Bowl (Heaps was at the announcement, made live on KING TV during halftime of this year's game). Only ten juniors in the nation were given the honor. The game will take place next January in San Antonio. Here is a bit about the game from Rivals.com:
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is the nation's premier high school football game, serving as the preeminent launching pad for America's future college and NFL stars. Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Adrian Peterson and Tim Tebow all made their national debuts as U.S. Army All-Americans. Last year the U.S. Army All-American Bowl set its own attendance record, as 36,534 fans attended the game at the Alamodome along with being the most watched sporting event on television over the weekend, besides the NFL Playoffs. For more information on the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, click here.
