Standwood football coach resigns

Stanwood football coach Dick Abrams resigned from coaching at the school yesterday. After seven years of coaching at the school Abrams leaves with a 36-32 record, last winning the Wesco North title in 2004. Abrams told the Everett Herald he was looking at different options for his career, although he may continue teaching physical education at Standwood. Abrams admitted he may seek another coaching job elsewhere. He met with players and spoke about his decision yesterday. You can read more about the story here.
